With spring comes pops of color in nature and, of course, apparel. If you don’t have the budget for an original Julien MacDonald or Etro, for instance, you can happen by a big retailer this spring to update your wardrobe with these fun designer/corporate collabs:
Lela Rose for Payless
Lela Rose for Payless has a great collection of wedges, heels, and flats at an amazing price point ($42.99-$56.99). I, for one, am a huge fan of wedges all year round since they are cute and leg-lengthening, but also so comfortable. When it’s nice enough in winter I wear wedges with colorful socks, and in summer you will hardly ever see me in flat flip-flops. I will for sure be getting myself a pair of the t-strap wedges! The question is, neon orange or stripes & paisley? Life is so hard sometimes.
Marni for H&M
Marni for H&M also launched yesterday, March 8 at H&M stores around the globe. While an original Marni ballet flat can cost up to $500, prices for this limited-time 100-piece collection range from $9.95 to to $199. I have always been a huge fan of fun prints, often mixing florals with stripes and, of course, a colorful wedge or heel. If I lived near an H&M I would be right there with all of the other adoring shoppers, though probably not sleeping outside the doors the night before.
