Painting on old boxes

Last spring on a Sunday after church I was thinking about what I could do to rest and enjoy the day.  I decided to sit outside on the deck in the beautiful spring weather and paint on this wine crate my aunt was throwing away. On a work trip to Pella my colleagues and I had stopped to enjoy the tulips right after the Tulip Festival was over. They appeased me and let me run around the park taking photos of all the tulips. My goal was to make a painting from the photos, and I had hoped I would actually get it done. Erwin McManus once said if you keep making goals and never meet them, you lose hope.

A year and a half later, I finally finish the painting! I had decided to complete it because I’d like to have an art show sometime this year. What goals do you have that you should complete?
