The bikini…the millennial equivalent to the power suit?
There is a Youtube video going around that I found fascinating, as I work with fashion a lot, and always struggle to incorporate the newest trends, however racy, into something that is wearable, yet fashionable, and modest.
A few years ago males at Princeton participated in a study. Their brain scans showed that when they viewed photos of scantily clad women, the region of the brain associated with tools/objects such as screwdrivers and hammers lit up. “Some men showed zero brain activity in the medial prefrontal cortex which is the part of the brain that lights up when one ponders another person’s thoughts, feelings, and intentions.” See the short video, below.
